HORIZONS EAST BUILDING COMPANY  is a residential building company primarily located in Jacksonville, NC. Horizons East is owned and operated by Jennifer Morton, a native to Jacksonville.

As a local, Jennifer is in tune with the needs and desires of the buyers in this area, both military and civilian. With Elijah Morton, her father and co-owner, Jennifer works not only as a builder but also a developer. With lots all over the county, Horizons East is sure to have the perfect location for you!

Jennifer Morton - Owner

Jennifer Morton is the majority owner and day-to-day management of Horizons East. Jennifer grew up around construction her entire life but didn’t make the leap into starting Horizons East until 2010. As a licensed Unlimited General Contractor, she has experience building everything from new construction, residential and commercial remodels to entrance monuments and various commercial construction. Jennifer manages the day to day operations from site work to paperwork and enjoys making homeowners dreams come true through Custom and Semi-Custom homes.

Elijah Morton - Owner

Elijah Morton brings with him 30+ years in the construction industry. From land grading, water and sewer, subdivision development, to general building construction, concrete, asphalt work, and much more, he is very knowledgeable in this field and a great asset to the company.
